Its a game setting that a lot of modern games and some older ones have where you get the benifits of windowed mode, that being there is no screen flickering when you load the game or alt tab. With borderless and windowed I experienced definitely less input lag compared to using fullscreen. If you set the games resolution below 1200:800 (the screens native res) in borderless or windowed Gamescope will use FSR (when enabled in quick settings) to upscale. Borderless windowed offers more utility. Some run a little bit better in full screen, some run the same in all modes. 5 sec when I alt tab while borderless window for some reason sometimes spikes the fps lower from time to time like the GPU doesn't know that it's supposed to be running at 100%Fullscreen will give you the full benefits of in-game gamma settings and arguably better vsync compatibility, but borderless windowed gives you more fps and performance. This minimizing is useful if you have only 1 monitor or a computer that isn't the beefiest. Go to System -> Display -> Graphics.
